It can be tricky to know what to pack for West Yellowstone, Montana. And furthermore, what to pack for a trip into Yellowstone National Park in the winter. In this article I will give you a basic list of what to pack for Yellowstone in the winter.
Before I go into too much detail about this, you need to know that it get’s ridiculously cold in West Yellowstone. The high is from 26-30 degrees Fahrenheit and the low is around 5 degrees. When I lived there it got so cold that my car froze and I couldn’t drive anywhere for a full day. And if you’re planning a snowmobiling trip, you’ll definitely want to bring all this stuff with you.
