Over the last few years, I have written down travel quotes from travelers much wiser than me.

I got into this habit because of tradition. Every year for our birthdays, my dad asks us, “what have you learned this year?” For weeks leading up to my birthday, I would sit and ponder what ‘wisdom’ I’d impart unto my family.

When I worked at the Book Peddler in West Yellowstone, Montana, I started asking people… “If you could share any piece of advice, what would it be?”

People jumped at this opportunity, and now I’m excited to share with you a few of my favorite quotes.
